Meet Chelsea
Starting by attending a YMCA babysitting course and CPR training in 1997, my experience working with children and families spans decades. My career in childcare and supporting families began with my work as a nanny for families across the SF Bay Area (from Marin County to Sunnyvale) until I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Marin in 2014. Then, I began teaching at Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood centers full time, specializing in newborn and infant care.
My passion for supporting families as they welcome new babies into their lives led me to pursue training as a postpartum doula through DONA International, training with a former NICU nurse. I continue to be filled with joy to spend my life collaborating with families to create the most loving, nurturing, and nourishing environment for parents and baby to thrive in the first moments and months of their life and beyond.
